WPC and membrane doors in Chennai.
Made up doors for the places solid timber is the wrong answer. Bathrooms, balconies, rentals and anywhere water and termites are the real enemy.
Not every opening wants a solid teak door. A bathroom does not. A balcony does not. A flat being fitted out for rental does not. In those places a made up door is not a compromise, it is simply the correct choice, and it costs a fraction of the alternative.
WPC stands for wood plastic composite. It does not absorb water, so it does not swell or rot, and there is nothing in it for a termite to eat. That makes it the sensible door for wet areas, and we supply WPC frames to match so the whole opening is protected, not just the shutter.
Membrane doors take a moulded PVC skin over the panel, which gives a seamless finish with soft moulded detail and no visible joints. Laminated doors take a decorative laminate over a flat face. Designer veneer doors carry a real wood veneer, so you get genuine grain at a fraction of solid timber cost. We also supply NFC doors.

What buyers ask about made up doors.
Are WPC doors really termite proof?
There is no wood fibre in a WPC door for a termite to feed on, so yes, termites leave it alone. The same composition is why water does not swell it.
Which door is best for a bathroom in Chennai?
A WPC door with a WPC frame. Chennai humidity is hard on timber in a wet room, and protecting the shutter while leaving a wooden frame in place only moves the problem.
What is a designer veneer door?
A door faced with a thin slice of real wood rather than a printed laminate. You get genuine grain and genuine variation, at far less than the cost of a solid timber door.
Tell us which room it is for.
The right door depends almost entirely on where it is going. Tell us the room and the sizes and we will point you at the sensible option rather than the expensive one.
